Used for deploying and retrieving round rods, cables, as marine stoppers on hawsers, and for temporary or permanent strain relief. May be used for temporary or permanent eyes either in midspan or on the end. Non-corrosive. Good dielectric properties. Grips are made from aramid flat braid, assembled in a four-leg configuration extending from a reinforced securing eye. The eye is entirely covered with an extra layer of braid which is saturated with an abrasion-resistant urethane coating. Grips can be applied over a wide range of cable diameters without specialized tools.
